The Private Pilot Licence

The Private Pilot Licence is a minimum 45 hour course. Of which 10 hours minimum will be solo. It has to include 9 theory exams and a qualifying cross country of 156 nautical miles, then followed by a skills test (conducted in house). These lessons can be scheduled to suit your life style including weekends. Each student is allocated a dedicated instructor to give continuity. We use PA28s and we also have an Avidyne glass cockpit equipped aircraft which is a great introduction to the glass cockpit familiarity. It is necessary to be able to obtain a CAA Class II medical.
